This motor features a brushless design with a strong neodymium iron boron magnet for high torque applications. It is suitable for use in fascia guns and other home appliances. If the green wire is connected to the black wire, then the red wire is connected to the positive pole and the black wire is connected to the negative pole, and the motor runs directly. This way, only one set of DC power supply is needed to drive the motor.
If PWM speed regulation is required, the red wire should be connected to the positive pole, the black wire to the negative pole, and the green wire to the PWM. The negative pole of the PWM should also be connected to the black wire in parallel, but it should be noted that the amplitude of the PWM signal must be between 6V-10V. If a conventional 5V PWM signal is used, the motor will continue to operate at the highest speed and cannot be regulated. If the PWM signal reaches 12V, the motor cannot operate normally. Moreover, the speed range of this motor is not large, with the slowest speed being 1750 revolutions per minute when the duty cycle is 90%, and the fastest speed being 3200 revolutions per minute when the duty cycle is 0%.
The drive board of this motor cannot start when the voltage is below DC9V. We suggest using it at DC12V, which is more suitable.
Reminder again: The brushless DC motor comes with a drive board, and the positive and negative poles cannot be reversed. The red line should be connected to the positive pole, and the black line should be connected to the negative pole. If connected incorrectly, the drive board may be burned out.
